Houra ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal time-tracking and planning app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices. We are committed to keeping your data private and to collecting only what is necessary for the app to work.

Information We Collect

To provide the app's core features, we collect and store the following:

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is handled securely by our authentication provider and is never stored by us in plain text.
• Your activity data: The categories you create, the time sessions you track (including their start time, end time, and duration), your daily goals, and any notes you add. This is the data that powers the timer, progress, and analytics features.

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, or any tracking information. We use Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring tool, solely to detect and fix crashes and technical problems. Sentry may process limited technical data (such as device type, OS version, and error details) for this purpose.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Create and secure your account
• Save your categories, sessions, and goals so they are available across your sessions
• Show you your progress, insights, and analytics within the app
• Send you optional local notifications (for example, a reminder if a timer has been running for a long time), only if you grant notification permission

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account and activity data are stored securely using Supabase, a third-party backend and database provider, acting as our data processor. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Supabase processes this data on our behalf solely to provide the app's functionality. You can review Supabase's own privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.

Notifications

The app can send local notifications (such as long-running timer reminders) to help you use the app. These are optional. You are asked for permission before any notifications are sent, and you can disable them at any time in your device's Settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at atakancicek1@gmail.com . Once your account is deleted, your associated activity data is removed from our database.

Children's Privacy

Houra is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
